  • This workshop focuses on the five naturally occurring powers we all have, the three relationships we all have, how to recognise and eliminate BUGS in your system and learn the basics of composting your 'crap' so it can fertilise your future.

  • Pilates mat classes consist of mobility and body weight exercises where you move your spine, find your core, and learn more about your body while developing strength from the inside-out. Leave feeling longer, stronger and more balanced, beginners welcome.

  • Never tried yoga before? This is the chance you've been waiting for. Enjoy this yoga session with Ashley Smyth - suitable for all levels from absolute beginners through to regular practitioners.

  • Amanda Fleming will lead us in a guided meditation suitable for everyone including absolute beginners. Guided meditation is a great way to try meditation for the first time and a powerful connecting experience for people familiar with meditative practice.

  • Raewyn Still leads us in the ancient Chinese exercise system, Tai Chi which integrates mind, body and breath by way of slow, gentle, effective movement. This is a great opportunity to continue your practice or try it for the first time.

  • Kick off with an indoor cycling journey, riding to the rhythm of the music where you control the intensity for a fab low impact cardio workout. Then we jump off the bike and into a full body barbell workout to tone and strengthen. Instructor-coached for effective technique and achievable results.

  • Don't want to miss your usual exercise session? You don't have to - Waitaki Recreation Centre has made their training gym available to Way-Ward Women between 7 and 8.30am.

  • Your choice of cooked breakfast in one of Oamaru's favourite cafes. Set menu.

  • Don't fancy being social first thing? Need some extra time to sleep in in the morning or prefer your coffee in peace? Then this one's for you. Your welcome pack includes some suggested routes for you to explore if you fancy a local walk or run.

Way-ward women is coordinated by The Business Hive Limited. All payments are through The Business Hive on behalf of the organisers and facilitators.

Booking, Cancellations and Refunds


Event Cancellations and Postponements
Whilst every effort will be made to run all advertised events, The Business Hive reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event unviable. If The Business Hive cancels an event, attendees will be offered a full refund.


Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, attendees will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.


The Business Hive will endeavour to notify attendees as soon as practicable of cancellations and postponements and will not be liable for any expenses incurred by attendees as a result of the cancellations and/or postponements.


Registration Fee & Payment Plans
The registration fee must be paid in full by March 27th 2025. A payment plan is available requiring a non-refundable deposit of $150 with payment in full due by March 27th 2025.


Changes to the Programme
While every attempt will be made to deliver this programme as advertised, please be aware that sometimes events beyond our control may lead to unavoidable changes to the programme or schedule.


Force Majeure
Under no circumstances will The Business Hive be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control including without limitation fires, flood, storms, explosion, earthquakes, other acts of God or war or in the case of webinars, technical failures.


Cancellations
Once a completed registration form has been received, any cancellation must be made in writing by emailing [email protected].


For cancellations more than 10 working days prior to an event:
If cancellation of registration is received more than 10 working days prior to the start date of the event, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder and must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.


For cancellations 10 or less working days prior to an event:
If cancellation of registration is received 10 working days or less prior to the start of the event, or in the case of registered non-attendees, the registration fee will be payable in full and no refunds given.


It is our policy where there are circumstances beyond attendee’s control that prevent them from attending an event, i.e. disruption to travel arrangements, sickness etc., not to refund the registration fee but to provide course materials (if applicable). Only in exceptional circumstances will refunds be considered. Please contact [email protected] giving full details.


However, if a registered person is unable to attend a substitute may be sent at no extra cost.

The information you supply during registration for an event will be shared and used between The Business Hive staff, contractors and third-party providers for the purpose of the event and for notifications of subsequent The Business Hive events. Unless you request otherwise, your information may also be shared with fellow participants and sponsors of the event in the form of a participant list. You are entitled to ask The Business Hive for access to your personal information and to request any corrections.


Filming and Photography at Events
When you attend the Way-Ward Women event, you will be in an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release or publication to be used for promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by The Business Hive.


Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar The Business Hive events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of The Business Hive. You release The Business Hive, its employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording or publication and use of photographs, video and/or or sound recordings.
